Also, to provide a space where women can support each other through prayer and social interaction.
Women face unique challenges when compared to menfolk. Therefore, it is beneficial for the women attending the yearly sessions to have accountability partners in adopting a healthier lifestyle and building their spiritual connection. This can be parallel discipleship as one sister strengthens the other on their journey to be like Jesus.
Further, the female visitors from the community will be included and linked with a sister from the church for accountability and discipleship through friendship evangelism.
Women’s issues (health, GBV etc)) transcends barriers and persons are often very open to learn more. This foot-in-the-door technique when followed according to Christ’s method, will not fail.
